The Auto Body Journal

The first issue of The Auto Body Journal was published in December of 1992. The vision of the publication was to simply carry the news and information that shops needed. The magazine provided articles on industry events, fellow shops, and suppliers. The look of the magazine has changed over the years but that vision is as true today as it was then. The Auto Body Journal is an independent trade publication for the auto body/automotive collision repair industry professionals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Upper Michigan, North and South Dakota. It is published six times a year and mailed free of charge to shops and new car dealers in those states. The Auto Body Journal features articles of interest about local shops and suppliers. It also carries industry press releases pertinent to the shops on new products and manufacturer news as well as any local associations' news. Publication months are February, April, June, August, October, and December.

The Auto Repair Journal

In July of 1993 the fist issue of The Auto Repair Journal was mailed. Along the same lines as The Auto Body Journal, it also carried the news and information to the shops but this time serving the mechanical side of the automotive industry. The Auto Repair Journal is an independent trade publication for the automotive service/mechanical repair industry professionals in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. It is published six times a year and mailed free of charge to shops and new car dealers in those states. The Auto Repair Journal features articles of interest about local shops and suppliers. It also carries industry press releases pertinent to the shops on new products and manufacturer news as well as any local associations' news. Issue months are January, March, May, July, September, and November.
