The Auto Repair Journal
Happy New Year! What will 2012 bring for you?
Mark Twain said, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain, quotes are wonderful snapshots at life. They make you ponder the what if's, the make you laugh, and they have a way of making you look at life in a different way.
He also said, "To succeed in life, you need two things: ignorance and confidence." Where would any of us be today if we hadn't taken a chance now and then? We may have been ignorant of the trials and tribulations of taking on a project, be it in business,
education, a job, or a relationship but we had confidence in ourselves to do what it takes to succeed. Ron McClellan, President of R.J. McClellan, Inc., began his project in December 1992 with The Auto Body Journal & July 1993 with The Auto Repair Journal.
Ron may not have known what was ahead of him but he can be proud of the success of the publishing business he created. We are please to be starting our 20th year with the publications. Thank you for being a huge part of that success.
In this issue of The Auto Repair Journal we have:
- An article by Wes Bradford on Full Disclosure Auto Recycling and the parts documentation of the modern auto recycling facility on page 10.
- We at R.J. McClellan, Inc. have a new website and you can read about it and the services we have on it on page 12.
- A press release from the folks at Aluminum in Transportation that discusses the usage of auto aluminum.
- 7 other press releases that we hope you will find useful from associations and manufacturers.
